Digital Pianos Editorial Review
The Yamaha P-525B Electronic Piano has garnered a positive reception among customers, especially those upgrading from older models like the P-140 and P-225. Users are impressed with the overall enhancement in sound quality and keyboard feel, noting that the touch is more realistic and more satisfying than previous models. The instrument offers a good blend of features, including a Bluetooth function for connecting to smartphones, which allows for wireless playback and recording capabilities through mobile apps. The recording capabilities and output volume are appreciated by those who enjoy playing and sharing their music, as the P-525B provides a wider recording range compared to its predecessors. While some users have found the built-in speakers to be slightly less powerful than those of the Clavinova range, many still applaud the overall sound quality, particularly the depth and expressiveness of the CFX piano sound. The keyboard's design, featuring ivory-like white keys and a wooden texture for black keys, adds to its professional appeal. Users have also expressed satisfaction with the responsive touch that mimics an acoustic piano's feel, making it suitable for both casual practice and serious performance. However, some users indicated that while the touch is excellent, there are small caveats regarding the pedals and sound projection when used in certain settings. They also noted that while the XG voices are a fun addition, they may not meet professional standards. Nevertheless, the P-525B is recommended for its portability, realistic touch, and versatile functionality. **
