Amazon Basics Touch Pads TK053 Editorial Review
The Amazon Basics Multi-Touch Trackpad has generally garnered a positive reception among users, primarily for its performance and ease of use. Many customers appreciate how easily the trackpad pairs with their Windows PCs via Bluetooth, allowing for seamless operation right out of the box. Users have reported that the device works as described, and several have highlighted the effectiveness of the touchpad's gesture support, which enhances their overall computing experience. However, there are notable concerns regarding the trackpad's Bluetooth connectivity, particularly when obstructed by barriers such as keyboard trays. Some users have experienced weak connections that can render the trackpad unusable if it is not positioned close to the computer. This issue has prompted some dissatisfaction among users who expected more reliability. Additionally, while the trackpad is praised for its functionality, the build material has received mixed reviews. The mylar/plastic surface tends to collect oils from fingers, leading to permanent smudges that may detract from its aesthetics over time. Some users also remarked on the sensitivity of the right and left-click features, which might be too responsive for some preferences. Overall, the Amazon Basics Multi-Touch Trackpad provides a solid and affordable option for those seeking a wireless touchpad, but Prospective buyers should be aware of its connectivity limitations and maintenance requirements. **
