Answer: The pulley may be cracked or the shaft may have mushroomed. The pulley must be replaced. -

Why do I only have power assist when increasing engine RPM after installing the replacement pump?
Answer: There may be debris in the flow control valve bore. The system needs to be checked and flushed for debris. -
