SummitLink Car & Truck Bodies SSbugBee Editorial Review
The SummitLink Custom Body Yellow Bumblebee Style has garnered a positive reception among RC enthusiasts, particularly those seeking a fun and durable option for their Traxxas Slash models. Feedback highlights the impressive build quality and durability of the body, with many users noting that it is as robust as the stock lexan bodies provided by major manufacturers. Customers appreciate its aesthetics, describing it as a refreshing change and a nod to popular culture, particularly for fans of Transformers. This body is recognized not only for its good looks but also for its functional benefits; it enhances the vehicle’s performance by improving its aerodynamic properties, leading to better jumps and reduced air catches, which minimizes random flips during high-speed runs. Several users mention ease of fitting with both the Traxxas Slash and Nitro Wrestler, alongside minimal need for trimming—a plus for those who want a straightforward installation. However, minor adjustments like reinforcing the body post holes with tape have been suggested to ensure longevity, and some customers experienced issues with the provided stickers not adhering well without additional support. Overall, the SummitLink Bumblebee body is a fun and functional upgrade for RC enthusiasts looking for both style and performance at an affordable price point. **
