The sound quality is great but there may be some slight pick up of other instrument sounds and vibrations. The receiver runs on 3 AA batteries, which allows for flexibility when moving it to the sound board. However, the system only has a 1/4" out and no XLR output, which could be an issue for some sound engineers. The battery power lasts for about 6 hours, which is decent for most gigs. The mic head has nice flexibility but attaches with a screw clamp instead of a clip, which could be a minor inconvenience.
