NORCOLD Crisper Cover

The NORCOLD Crisper Cover has garnered mixed reviews from customers who have needed replacements for their RV refrigerators. Overall, the cover is praised for its perfect fit in Norcold models and its thick glass Construction, which facilitates easy cleaning. Many users noted that installation was straightforward, providing a sense of satisfaction when replacing broken components. However, there are recurring concerns regarding the durability of the glass material. Customers have reported that despite the initial quality, the glass crisper cover tends to break easily, especially in the context of an RV, where conditions can be more dynamic than in a stationary kitchen. Some customers experienced multiple breakages during shipping, indicating that while packaging can often be improved, the inherent nature of glass in the RV setting remains a significant drawback. There is a clear desire from customers for a more durable, possibly plastic, alternative that would better withstand the rigors of RV life. Despite the excellent service provided by some retailers in ensuring intact delivery, the crisper cover's fragility has led to a general sentiment that it might not be worth the investment for long-term use in trailers. **
