The sides of the hose reel are a little flimsy, but they don't need to be super thick. The kit comes with a 3/8 inch premium rubber hose that requires fittings to finish. The device can be mounted on the ceiling and the angle of hose departure can be adjusted. The mounting plate is 6" x 6". Unfortunately, the inlet fitting is tight and rotates with the reel, twisting the inlet air line into a pretzel. The hose is yellow, with some complaining of a rubbery odor.
