Answer: The connectors are made of brass with an acid dipped finish. -

Answer: The dimensions are L:1.38; W:0.79; D:0.14 inches, with an interior sizing of Length= 1.18; Width= 0.47; Opening=0.2 inches. -

What does the size number 47, 50, 55, 60 represent?
Answer: These numbers represent the approximate overall outside height of the Quick Link in millimetres. Note, these are approximate because these links are hand made of solid brass, as such there may be some variation. -

Will the connector fit the chain?
Answer: Looking at the diagram you still have 1/8" clearance even if its the smaller U15 chain, so I think so. -
Question:
Is the received 5 gauge within tolerances?
Answer: Sorry, the item was purchased and delivered at the request of a family member who is not available to address the question for at least the next week. -

How much weight will the 5 gauge hold?
Answer: Unfortunately, this brass quick link has not been officially weight tested yet, however a similar gauge chain that we have, has been weighted tested to over 100 lbs working load.
