The VOX StompLab 1G Multi-Effects Modeling Pedal for Guitar is a great product that offers good sounds and great effects. It is very easy to program and is perfect in size and sound quality. However, some users have reported issues with the installation of batteries which could damage the delicate wires and cause the device to fail. It should be handled with care during installation. The pedal also has a glitch where it drops out every few minutes, making it useless for recording. The organization of effects is also random, tied in batches to the "category" button which makes it difficult to scroll through effects independently. However, once you have dialed in a single sound and volume, the tone is excellent, although a bit compressed. The master volume dial jumps to maximum output when the channel or effect is changed, making it an awkward and uncomfortable experience for practice with headphones. Overall, this product is great for beginners or hobbyists who want to experiment with various effects.
