    Answer: No, mine did not have a protective cover. The LEDs are exposed. Have not had a problem with the bulb over a sink inside a building.

    Answer: Bulb is about 5 1/2 long total. So if it fits, should work.
  • Question: Nomal home with a garage. I want a very bright light will this work?

    Answer: Yes, it will work.
  • Question: Will this bulb withstand 100 degree F garage?

    Answer: I am not sure I feel comfortable telling you yes no matter what, but I have installed 15 of these in a barn which are enclosed in glass protection covers so they hold the heat. They have been in use for approximately 1 year with no problems. I would say that in the summer they will get over 100 in the protective glass covers but ambient is probably 90-95. Hope this helps. They have good light and are quick to turn on with no delay.

    Answer: The little icon to the left of the picture shows 6.2" high and 3.1" wide.

    Answer: My fixture is enclosed and works fine. Less than 60% heat. No problems so far.
