The 4RXFK L421X Laptop Battery for Dell XPS series has garnered mixed receptions from customers, with many voicing significant concerns regarding its performance and reliability. Many users describe the battery as failing to hold a charge, with one reviewer detailing an experience where the battery only charged to 11% after being drained and subsequently died, leaving their laptop unusable even when plugged in. This issue with the internal controller appears to be a recurring theme as multiple customers reported similar problems, indicating that quality control may be a concern for this product. Some customers contrasted their experiences with the OEM batteries, noting that this third-party option felt sturdier than other generic replacements but ultimately did not perform as expected. One reviewer reported an immediate drop in charge after removal from the power source, questioning the battery's longevity and efficiency. The replacement experience also received criticism, as one user expressed frustration over Amazon's return and refund process, citing abandonment for the defective items purchased. While some users did manage to find satisfactory replacements from other retailers, the initial purchase through Amazon seems to have led to dissatisfaction due to product failures. Overall, potential buyers of the 4RXFK L421X Laptop Battery should be prepared for possible issues with charging and reliability, alongside a potentially cumbersome return process if the battery does not meet expectations. **
