PullRite Fifth Wheel Hitch Editorial Review
The PullRite 3123 Mounting Kit has generally received favorable feedback from customers who have used it to install hitches on their vehicles. Users with experience in DIY projects found the installation manageable, though it requires drilling into the frame and the truck bed, which can be challenging without the right tools and expertise. The installation manual provides sufficient guidance, although some users indicated the instructions could be clearer regarding the layout for mounting pins. A recurring suggestion from reviewers is to purchase a template separately, as it significantly aids in the marking of holes, making the installation process smoother. One of the standout features mentioned is the design of the kit, which allows for a clean look in the truck bed once the hitch is removed. The brackets are mounted underneath the bed, leaving no visible components when the hitch is taken out, something that users appreciated for aesthetic and functional reasons. However, some creators noted the need for additional components, such as rubber plugs to cover the holes left when the hitch is removed, yet they found this minor concern could be easily addressed with additional purchases. Overall, the PullRite 3123 Mounting Kit is well-received for its robust functionality and the quality of its components, making it a solid choice for those looking to install a 5th wheel hitch. **
