It is UL certified to meet or exceed EPA regulations and can be used with a wide range of refrigerants. While it can pull a unit into a vacuum, it is not intended for deep vacuum pumping. However, it is not suitable for use in a closed loop butane system as it is not explosion proof or sparkless.
