MAS Art Glues & Pastes Editorial Review
The Art Pro epoxy resin appears to have a longer working time of up to 45 minutes, making it easy to mix and colour. Coverage can depend on the coating thickness, porosity of the surface, and waste. A 1-gallon kit (1/2 gallon resin and 1/2 gallon hardener) should cover about 12 square feet in 1/8" thick coat, or 24 square feet at 1/16" thick. One thin seal coat followed by one flood coat is typical for application on bare wood. The epoxy resin is not FDA food-safe but is not toxic to the skin. The heat resistance is pretty high; however, it cannot withstand high heat.
