The CPU 7900X is great for both gaming and work in Photoshop, and is suitable for use with B650 boards. Noctua air coolers like the U12A or C14S can be used with this processor, but it is recommended to have a good airflow case. DDR5 RAM is required, and past generations of AMD motherboards do not fit this processor. Overheating can be avoided with a good water cooling system and at least a 1000 watt PSU. It is great for gaming and workload, but not specifically for picture modeling or 3D imaging. The processor runs hot and requires a solid cooler, with some users reporting temperatures of up to 95°C. Updating the motherboard bios is necessary to fix issues with the CPU burning the motherboard under heavy load. Overall, with proper setup and cooling, this CPU can massively increase workload speed and is a great option for both gaming and work tasks.
