The Zerostart 3500069 Engine Block Immersion Heater is a reliable product with a 1000 watt supply, and is CSA approved. It is easy to install and extends the life of batteries and the starter. Although the exact temperature is not known, it is tested successfully in a 2014 F250 6.7L diesel engine, and is compatible with a 2008 F350 6.4L Ford. Despite Amazon's description error for a 7.3L engine, this product is compatible with numerous engines including Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, InternationalNavistar, John Deere, and more. There is no thermostat incorporated into this block heater, but it is not necessary to operate the heater on an external plug timer.
