The bristles are significantly stiffer than nylon brushes used for all paints, which are ideal for thicker coatings. The 1.5-inch size, angled brush holds a straight edge with enamel as well. The handle is approximately 7 inches long and the brush is of excellent quality when it comes to solvent paints and lacquers. It is not ideal for water-based paints. Purdy Brushes last long if taken care of and cleaned properly.
